Fence stain – A stain protection of wood and extends the life of the fence. There are several ways to color a wooden fence. Use the fence stain; Remove all debris from the surface of the wood. If necessary, use a stiff brush and detergent to clean stubborn stains. Spread a plastic tarp along the ground near the fence where you want to start painting. Place a rolling hill on the tarp and fill the tray with your choice of fence stain. Do not dilute the stain with paint thinner or water.
How to use the fence stain, scroll through the roller stain in the tray repeatedly, covering the whole width and the surface of the roll. Apply the stain to the fence by rolling the roller across the surface of the fence. Low-long battle with the roll, overlap each blending strokes together. Reload the roll as needed to tarnish the entire fence. Let the initial layer of the stain to dry completely for 12 to 24 hours, or as directed by your stain label. Apply a second layer of the stain to your fence, by means of the roller. Two to three coats are usually required to fill out a fence staining project.
Fence stain in sunny weather where there is no threat of rain. Allow up to two weeks for the fence stain to completely heal. Temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit are best to use most stains. Wood fence that is more porous will require more stain.
